Mark was educated in Paris and London before graduating in medieval history at King's College, University of London. He subsequently read law at University College London. He is fluent in English and French.
He qualified as a solicitor at Simmons & Simmons in 1991 and worked at major City firms in both Paris and London developing his expertise in commercial litigation and arbitration.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Law Society of England and Wales and the District of Columbia Bar.
